Story:
The Surface and the Deep
The turtle did not race. It never had.
The currents rushed. The fish scattered. The sea changed its mind a hundred times a day. But the turtle moved with a pace that held memory of where it had come from, and where it was going.
It rose now and then to breathe, to feel the warmth of the sun on its shell, to blink at the sky. But it always returned to the deep. That’s where the stories were. Where time slowed down enough to matter.
It had seen things, storms and stillness, driftwood and shipwrecks. And yet, it had never hurried. Because wisdom, like water, is learned slowly.
No one knew how far the turtle had come. Fewer still knew how far it would go. But it didn’t need to explain itself. It just kept swimming, steady, quiet, faithful.
Because not all strength is loud.
Some strength just keeps going.
